File: 000072.jpgIntergraph SupportModeler is the “Best of Breed” system to perform detail design of Standard and Engineered pipe supports. SupportModeler saves you man-hours by combining 3D modelling, material take-offs and fabrication drawings into a single integrated workflow. Full editing functions give you total control of the design, and the non-template fabrication drawing system allows you to communicate that design with the push of a button. Accuracy is improved through automatic material take-off and cut lengths, rule checking, integration with the rest of the design process, and interference detection. SupportModeler will shorten your schedule by allowing support designers to work alongside piping design.

The Carpenter & Paterson product line is included with the Software as a SupportModeler library so you can model Carpenter & Paterson supports in your 3D projects. SupportModeler includes extensive libraries of industry-standard support component and sample assemblies, with hundreds of support configurations and thousands of sizes included for immediate productivity. All components are fully parametric, with 3D graphics, connectivity and rule checking controlled by users. For even greater productivity, users can easily add their own support standards too.

SupportModeler is an integrated module of the Design Series. As well, SupportModeler integrates seamlessly with Intergraph PDS giving users the powerful modelling, flexible customisation and automated fabrication drawings of SupportModeler at a fraction of the price of a seat of PDS. Pipe Supports are automatically included in PDS isometric drawings, orthographic drawings, clash detection and other PDS post-processing, and SupportModeler does not require a seat of PDS.
